Researcher Volunteer
Under the guidance and auspices of the Editorial Board, the Researcher Volunteer is responsible for performing research and compiling information in service to the construction of Sparkyl articles. They will keep close contact with the Editorial Board and build word documents, spreadsheets, and other supporting artifacts under their direction, and in line with the topics being written on.
This is a more involved position that is a core part of Sparkyl’s media output.
Description
Consistent internet access.
Intermediate reading/writing skills
Research skills
Experience with reading charts, graphs, and other forms of complex data
Basic understanding of Marxism
Basic comprehension of the Sparkyl works, Where to Begin When We Already Started? and “Demarcating the Proletariat”
Qualifications
Maintain consistent contact with the Sparkyl Editorial Board via secure email.
Perform internet research on a variety of topics under the direction of the Editorial Board.
Supply the Editorial Board with artifacts related to the research being done.
Maintain consistent ethics, morals, and the Sparkyl political line.
Time commitment: ≤10 hrs a week
