Writer Volunteer
Under the guidance and auspices of the Editorial Board, the Writer Volunteer is responsible for constructing Sparkyl articles. They will keep close contact with the Editorial Board, and accept all revisions to the work that the Board deems appropriate.
This is a very involved position that is responsible for supplying our primary periodical with relevant Marxist articles. As such, it requires a comrade who is advanced in Marxism-Leninism and dialectical materialism.
Description
Consistent internet access.
Advanced reading/writing skills
Research skills
Experience with reading charts, graphs, and other forms of complex data
Advanced understanding of Marxism-Leninism, and a working comprehension of the dialectical materialist worldview
Comprehension and familiarity with the whole body of Sparkyl work, especially Where to Begin When We Already Started?, “Demarcating the Proletariat”, “Bawling Boers and Bourgeois Revolt,” “Workers in South Korea Flex on Samsung, but It Will Require More Heavy Lifting,” and “The Pipeline.”
Qualifications
Maintain consistent contact with the Sparkyl Editorial Board via secure email.
Perform independent work that culminates in the completion of full Sparkyl articles.
Maintain consistent ethics, morals, and the Sparkyl political line.
Time commitment: ≤20 hrs a week
